All Troop leaders: The Emergency Prep Merit badge class this fall. It will be held on 3 separate days. One day in September, one day in October one day in November, Scout taking the class will need to be at all 3 days. Day 1 will be learning about different emergency situations and what as a scout they can do. Day 2 will be participating in an emergency drill conducted by the local fire department. Day 3 they will be covering the supplies and equipment needed for an emergency situation such as a natural disaster. There will be homework due the first day. Homework will be given to them for day 2 and 3 also in class. This class is open to scouts in Troop 4, 15, and 1111. Please see attached flyer for more info. This is a great opportunity for your scouts to earn this required Merit badge. Please Pass this on to everyone in your troop. I have attached a copy of the flyer. Your's in Scouting

QF94+4V Farmington, Wharton Township, PA Munhall Memorial Day: Monday, May 27 St. Therese Memorial Day Mass: Meet at 8:00 AM inside church. Mass begins at 8:15 AM Parade: Meet in Steel Valley High School Parking Lot at 8:45 a.m. or after mass for those that are attending. Memorial Service at Homestead Cemetery: At end of parade route. Ceremony begins around 10:00 AM. For all of these activities, the scouts should attend in full Class A Uniform, shirt, neckerchief and slide, plus beige or olive green pants or shorts. Please no athletic shorts.
After the event at Eldercrest we will be meeting in St Therese School cafeteria for our Christmas party. Don’t forget to bring a gift for the gift exchange (if you want to participate in gift exchange. Gifts can be $10-$20 Scouts oriented)
And also bring some sweets/drinks that you were assigned at the last Scout meeting. Pizza will be provided Merry Christmas
